Zarathustra

Zarathustra is a Burmese (now Myanmar) puppet

Burmese Control device.

This is a live performance.  Zarathustra has moveable eyes and mouth the same as a ventriloquist doll.  So the performance is set up much like a ventriloquist one.  The first three questions are distributed to the audience.  Then the audience is asked to provide their own questions for the amount of time you want the performance to last.

Intro by puppeteer

A philosopher, Nietzsche, in the late 1800's wrote a book called "Thus spake Zarathustra"   Zarathrustra was the next evolutionary man or the Superman among ordinary men.  I have for you today Zarathustra.  He is Omnipotent.  No not impotent.  Omnipotent.  That means he knows all.  He is here to answer your questions for you.

So lets welcome Zarathustra.

Zarathustra enters and bows

I am Zarathustra, the superman.  I know all.  I am here to answer your questions for you.  May I have a question?  You (Zarathustra points to audience member)

Audience members ask "How far is up?"

Zarathustra holds out his hand and slowly raises and lowers it. "If you start right here and go up forever you will end right here because light and gravity travel in a curved line."

Zarathustra, "Next"  Points to audience member.

Audience member number 2.  "I have a simple question.  How long will I live?"

Zarathustra, "As long as you can"

Zarathustra, "Next"

Audience member number 3.  "What is the lottery for tomorrow"

Zarathustra, "The same it is for today.  A series of numbers that individuals pay money for in hopes of winning larger quantities of money.

If you want the performance to continue Zarathustra will ask the audience for more questions and answer them for the amount of time you want the performance to continue.
